Microsoft plans to release new features and software changes to fix Windows 10 issues for years to come. For example, the Windows 10 Creators Update is scheduled to launch this spring. Every month it also releases new patches to fix the issues. Until those fixes are available, here are some relatively easy ways to fix issues that some people are having frequently.
Windows 10 issues
If you suddenly find that your laptop, tablet, or 2-in-1's battery isn't lasting as long as it should, it might be time to turn on Windows 10's battery saver feature.

Dim your device's display by pressing the button on the right or turn it on to dim your screen and reduce notifications and extras running in the background.
The new Xbox app on Windows allows users to stream their game sessions directly from their Xbox One to their PC. This is especially useful when you're in another room and don't want to move around to play your favorite games. Sometimes you are going to have trouble with game streaming. Specifically, you will encounter jerkiness in the video.

Now go to the area and look at the signal indicator to the left of your device name. If it is red, you will definitely have streaming issues.
To fix Windows 10 game streaming issues, first connect your Xbox One directly to your wireless router to see if that's the problem. If so, your wireless router may be too slow to handle this feature. You'll need to buy a new one or stay connected to your network when using game streaming. You can also try adjusting the video quality of your stream to reduce the strain on your network.
Also, a lot of people seem to forget that streaming requires the game to be digital or you already have your physical copy in the disc drive.
Common Windows 10 problems: Fix Windows 10 Camera app
Windows 10 has a camera app that lets you capture images with your device's built-in camera. Sometimes the camera app crashes, leaving you unable to switch between multiple cameras on your device or capture a photo. If this happens, close the Camera app and check for other apps that may be using the camera.
If you have serious problems with Windows 10 after an upgrade, you can always remove the operating system and reinstall it without deleting your files.

Whether you choose to delete all your files with Windows 10 is up to you. Once removed, Windows 10 will install again. This should resolve any issues you are having with the operating system. Now that if you have upgraded your Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 PC to Windows 10, you will also have the option to roll back to your previous operating system.
The various Windows 10 apps are cool and new, but some of them still have issues. A few will crash into you regularly right now.
Try closing the app by tapping or clicking the X in the top right corner of the app. If you're in tablet mode, place your finger on the top edge of your screen and swipe the app down your screen.
Now reopen it.
Go to the Windows Store to reinstall an app if you continue to have problems working or loading.
Common Windows 10 issues: How to add music to Microsoft Groove
Windows Media Player is still present in Windows 10, but Microsoft does not encourage anyone to use it. Instead, it's rebuilt Xbox Music for the operating system. Groove Music allows users to stream music from Microsoft servers or play music they already own. To add songs to Groove Music, drop them into the Music folder on your PC.
If you don't want to move your music files, open Groove Music.

For Windows 10, Microsoft went back to the drawing board on OneDrive, its online storage service. In Windows 8.1, users could store stuff in their OneDrive account and have tiny placeholder files to browse that content on their PC. It started on Windows 10.
To see all the files stored on your OneDrive account, you need to sync those files to your PC. You can also see them all on OneDrive.com . This site is also the best place to monitor how much free storage you have left.
Microsoft Edge is the new replacement for Internet Explorer. The company says it's faster, friendlier, and easier to use than the two versions of Internet Explorer that the company included in Windows 8.1. Over time, Microsoft Edge should become more reliable, but right now it's very, very buggy on some sites.

Common Windows 10 issues: Cortana not working
We'll have to wait for Microsoft to fix some of the issues with Cortana not responding when you tap or click the microphone icon on the taskbar. If your problem is that she can't hear you well when giving audio commands, try accessing Cortana's settings using the Notebook icon on the left side of her window. Adjust the volume again, spend some time adding your voiceprint if you're in a reasonably quiet space.
Cortana isn't available in all countries yet, which would explain why you might miss the personal assistant. Even if Cortana is available in your region, some features may not be.

Microsoft shocked the world by announcing that it would provide access to its Office Mobile applications. So many people have taken advantage of the apps during testing that many have forgotten that they are not completely free. Officially, Word Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile and Excel Mobile are only free for users with a device with a screen size below 10.1 inches.

Microsoft's new Movies & TV app lets users stream content they've purchased or store it locally for playback. The former is useful if you really want to start watching something immediately. Local playback is ideal for airplanes, trains, and other situations where connecting to Microsoft's servers isn't possible.
Even with recent updates, sometimes Movies & TV just won't start streaming content that users have purchased. When this happens, close the app by clicking the X in the corner of your screen. Touch users should swipe down from the top edge of their screen and tap the button in the right corner.
Restarting the app should fix the problem.
Common Windows 10 Problems: Start Menu Won't Open
Some issues have plagued Windows 10 since its launch in 2015. Windows 10's Start menu can be both touch-friendly and user-friendly, but it has serious reliability issues on some systems. Often loading takes longer than expected. On rare occasions, it does not charge at all.

Common Windows 10 issues: Microsoft Edge won't open web pages
Sometimes Microsoft Edge fails to open a web page that you have previously browsed without issue. When this happens, try creating an In-Private tab by clicking in the address bar and selecting .
Now go to the page that was not working before. This is an interim fix until Microsoft resolves some of the issues still affecting the operating system.
Common Windows 10 Problems: Can't Get Sound
If you're trying to listen to music or watch a video, but you're not getting any sound from your PC, start by clicking the speaker icon on the right side of the taskbar at the bottom of your screen. Check the volume first, then click on the arrows you might see that allow you to also change the device you're sending audio to. (Note that this only appears if you've connected Bluetooth or a second set of speakers.)
Definitely, try restarting your device.
Common Windows 10 Problems: Missing Recovery Media (New)
Microsoft designed Windows 10 recovery tools to save users from having to reinstall their operating system from flash drives and DVDs. In most situations, that's exactly how it behaves. Sometimes that is not the case, however. You may be notified that you are missing the media needed to refresh your PC when you try to refresh or restore.
If this happens to you, you will need to download recovery media from the company that made your laptop, desktop, or tablet. Some companies will allow you to download a copy for free. Others may charge you.
Common Windows 10 problems: Unable to download apps from Windows Store
The Windows Store lets you download or buy as many apps as you want, but it doesn't let you install them on as many PCs as before. In fact, the store now includes the Xbox One in the 10 devices you can install apps on.
Once you reach this 10 device limit, you will need to go to Account.Microsoft.com to remove one of your old devices.
