Crunchyroll is having an exciting month, with the anime streamer announcing that it will be absorbing Funimation's library and later unveiling an impressive lineup for Spring 2022. But as a number of new anime hit Crunchyroll, it looks like many leave the platform. As of March 31, viewers will no longer have access to more than 50 titles.

Many anime leave Crunchyroll in March

Crunchyroll revealed on March 24 that a number of anime currently on its platform will be leaving before the end of the month. Starting March 31, more than 50 titles will no longer be available on the service. It's unclear why Crunchyroll is saying goodbye to these series, but it may have to do with streaming rights.

As Comic Book Resources points out, Sentai Filmworks is the worldwide distributor for many titles on Crunchyroll's list. This could mean that they will switch to HIDIVE. In fact, Anime News Network says a number of them are already streaming there.

With that in mind, we could see increased competition between the two services. But which anime are leaving Crunchyroll in March 2022?

What anime titles have recently joined the service?

While it's undoubtedly sad to say goodbye to all the anime listed above, a number of titles have also joined Crunchyroll recently - and they'll help fill the gap left by the series' departure. .

Some of the shows that have come to Crunchyroll following its merger with Funimation include Assassination Classroom, The Promised Neverland, Noragami, and PRIORITY TO WONDERFUL EGGS . And that's only scratching the surface.

To see the full list of subs and voiceovers that have migrated to the platform, check out the Crunchyroll website. And subscribers can expect even more content once the Spring 2022 anime season arrives. Needless to say, there will still be plenty to watch even with so many shows starting.
