There's a major new Snapchat update coming that brings a revamp and new features to the Snapchat app you know and love. Here's how to join the Snapchat beta so you can try out all the new Snapchat features right now and gain a few extra followers by mastering these new features first.

You will need an Android phone to join the Snapchat beta. It's open to anyone with Android, but there's no Snapchat beta for iPhone. If you have a spare Android phone, you can try the new Snapchat features, but that will log you out of the Snapchat app on your iPhone.

  9. Install Snapchat Beta
  10. Open Snapchat and you'll see a notification that you're in beta.

Start using Snapchat's new update features before the rest of the world. Keep in mind that this may be more buggy than the version you installed previously. You can check out Snapchat issues and fixes to try and fix all the issues you're having, but not all of them will work on the beta.

If you're using Snapchat to manage an account for work, it's a good idea to avoid the Snapchat beta as there may be some issues you're having. You can leave the Snapchat beta as easily as you joined.

Go to Snapchat settings, then scroll down to Snapchat beta and tap on it. On the next screen, tap Disable to exit Snapchat beta. You will need to uninstall the app, wait a few minutes, then reinstall the normal Snapchat app.
